Welcome to the MSA Online Community. We've created this space
with the purpose to be inspire, connect and collaborate with fellow
new conspirators, people who are creating the future one mustard
seed at a time. Our goal is to foster real communication among
kindred spirits.
Mustard Seed Associates
(MSA) is a community of Jesus’ followers all over the world
striving to create the future one mustard seed at a time. MSA
provides resources and a network for committed followers of Jesus
to anticipate the future, decode the culture, convey the Kingdom of
God , and create new ways of being a difference and make a
difference.
We work to inspire (plant), connect
(cross-pollinate) and create (harvest). Believing God is
changing the world through mustard seeds – the seemingly
insignificant – MSA seeks to unleash the creative potential of
ordinary people to make a difference in their communities and a
world of urgent need.
MSA subscribes to the Nicene Creed, we hold a high view of
scripture. We are passionate followers of Jesus Christ and are
committed to working tirelessly, by God’s grace, to see something
of the in breaking of God’s new order in our rapidly changing and
desperately needy world.

TIPS FOR USING THE MSA COMMUNITY NETWORK SITE

Unlike many places in the
online world, where avitars and faux personas abound, we ask you to
seek to know and to 'be known' here, using your real name (not an
alias) and listing true information (as to what is asked) in the
profile fields (If the field does not apply, please leave it
blank). '
- Control email and notifications top right, click 'my settings'
then email.
- Customize your personal page with a cool color scheme or
template, and use your 'text box' to post a picture, talk about
about yourself, your community, your books... as you choose.
- Feel free to create Groups, in which you will interact with
others with similar ideas and interests. But make sure that the
Group fit the ethos of community and creativity of MSA. The group
creator should tend and cultivate the group with love and
tenderness.
- Use 'forums' to start 'ongoing' topical discussion across the
whole network rather than start a group. Begin forums specific to
your group body on your group's page.
- Wall comments are public. When you add a comment to someone's
wall, everyone can else read it. The wall is best for quick, non
private greetings/ comments.
- Email is private. To send a private email message to a member:
1. click on their picture. 2. Then on their personal profile (below
their picture) click 'send a message.'
- Blog posts are public.
-
- Events page is available for events related to the mission and
purpose of MSA. The Community Host reserve the right to edit or
delete events that do not match the intention of the community
page. The Community Host reserve the right to make the final call
on what events should be publicized.
- Check your mail & and friend requests click the mail or
friends icon - top, left corner of the website.
- We want this group to be as autonomous and open as possible.
But because we know how cluttered and chaotic some social networks
can be, the admins reserve the rights to weed and prune here and
there as they see necessary.
- Explore and enjoy networking !
-
- If you have any questions, concerns, ideas do not hesitate to
contact
Eliacin who is the community host. While you are contacting
him, why not invite him for coffee?
Many thanks to our friends at www.anglimergent.org for some of
the language in the participation manual.
