About Me:
People ask me what I do, and I half-jokingly reply “I don’t really know.” There is probably more truth to this then I realize. I won’t beat around the bush.

I am a freelance writer and marketing consultant. My current main client is Intand.com. My last main client was World Vision, where I created both print and web copy to better the lives of children around the world.

I also care a lot about the Church. I am admittedly disenchanted about it (the institution of it, that is). And not with the best attitude at times. God is working with me in this area.

In the recent past, I have marketed businesses and spiritual communities, maximized web sites, tried to write a screenplay (like it seems everyone is) and all in all have tried to make trouble.

According to the Clifton StrengthsFinder, my strengths are:

Strategic Maximizer Connectedness Input Ideation

I have been a strengths coach, as I love helping people maximize who God made them to be.

According to Meyers-Briggs, I am an ENFP.

In my nano-free time, I read cookbooks, theology and politics, enjoy wine, and feebly try to let God mold me into a better man.

What are your most pressing concerns about the world and the church?
Bickering amongst believers of Jesus that keeps us from fully participating in His Kingdom now.
Give us one word of hope.

Cheers Alex. Glad the tall was constructive. My God encourage you in being the presence he has called you to be. Live here is very much a season of prayer and waiting on God for the future. Talk soon. Mike

Alexander,
Thanks for the welcome. I am truly happy to be here. It is a strange thing to pick up and move across the country without knowing what I will be doing or why I am here. I began my journey from AZ Feb.1st and arrived here around Feb. 16th and now I am a bit lost. It is a good lost though, I think God has been wanting me to surrender for a while now. So I am currently on the hunt for a job, and not so sure what will work out. I have been reading a book called Irresistible Revolution, and it makes me want to do all the crazy things that I doubt i can do. Bu for now I need to establish some sense of community here and find some people to share a vision with. Know anyone in the area? :) Leslie
