What are the creative examples that give you hope?
Young people willing to stand for Truth in creative, peaceful, loving, interaction with the world. A rediscovery among Christians that salvation is not just about getting to heaven but also living Kingdom lifestyles here on earth.
What are your most pressing concerns about the world and the church?
Confusion about politics and faith and the churche's near abandonment of its role as justice and peacemakers in the world. The church seems to want to abandon this role to governments - or to reshape government to do the work of the church. Last time I checked the church was still to be the Body of Christ in the world.
What is your favorite way to celebrate?
Relaxing with good friends and meeting interesting new ones.
Give us one word of hope.
All things made new! (ok, that's four words but I'm not a literalist)

Ubuntu Inklings

Ubuntu Inklings is my personal website exploring issues of faith in action and the challenges of living out that faith in a busy urban setting. The site is a bit eclectic - articles, poems, and photos covering a variety of things from my current context as a pastor/missionary in Hong Kong.

Come take a look and leave me a note -- I'd love to hear from you!

Well, I don't know how it's going in Bemidji... but Willmar is great. It's a challenge but it's a great challenge still.

I certainly hope you will be able to join us for the Celtic retreat (August 8-10). You may even like to camp the weekend with us.
