I am perhaps in the most exciting time in my life. . . not because of all that is going on around me, as I am new to Seattle and most everything around me is still foreign, but because of what Jesus is doing inside me. I am changed by his love, and I understand his grace for the first time in my very long and windy walk with God. I am seeking to be in community with other like-minded believers who are using their lives as thanks offerings to God, hoping that their broken vessels will be transformed into agents of change for the Kingdom. It is because I know that the Lord has a plan for me that this is not the scariest time in my life. It is because of his great faithfulness that my life can be used at all. I am ordinary in every way and yet my extraordinary God lives in me. What an unexpected resting place for the almighty. I look forward to the future with hope, joy and great expectations for what the Lord has begun and continues to do in my life and in the lives of others.

I hope to see you on Thursday, even though I'm presently a little bit hornswoggled about where your last message to me actually went besides in the alert email. Ahh, technology...
Ahh, public planning it is. This must be one of those "what they had was not their own" moments. It now looks like I'm going to be in Seattle for the weekend, so let me know some times that work on Fri and Sat, as well as a neighborhood. I seem to be mostly in the NW part of town.
Hi Leslie,
I will be in Washington before too long, since my job is based out of Olympia. I think I'll be up in Seattle on the 29th for a forum on microfinance and Oikocredit and such. It feels weird making plans via public comments, but I guess life is weird.
Hi Leslie - sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The Purple Door is an old frat house, across the street from UW. We have a small intentional community of (mostly) college students that live there, participate in regular teach-ins, do some community work, and host some occasional special events.
Next time we have a big party, I'll post some information - feel free to show up anytime!
Hi Leslie, I wanted to invite you to our Good Friday service tonight 7 pm and Easter service sat 5pm followed by a dinner and party with live music. if you want an email about it you can send me your email to me karen@apostleschurch.org

My fam and I will be at COTA tonight. Let's connect. I am not sure we'll stay for the after-party, we will need to put our kids to bed.
Peace.
and we can get that coffee next week.

Maybe we can have coffee or tea sometime?
Cheers
