I'm a first-year student at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Iowa having caught the vision of dreaming up a new way of calling others into being and doing community in Christ through my past involvement at church of the apostles in Seattle. I also play in the Emerging Leaders Network (Luthermergent) group on Ning.
Amateur artist, amateur writer, amateur theologian, professional and certified sign language interpreter. Lover of Thai cuisine.
What are the creative examples that give you hope?
Let me think about that.
What are your most pressing concerns about the world and the church?
Too many to list really, but one of the top ones in my book is the church's historic practice of using theology in very ugly ways to exclude people. This has got to change.
What is your favorite way to celebrate?
Good music, good friends, good wine and even better food. :-)
Give us one word of hope.
God's mercies are new every morning.

Good to see you here. I missed seeing you around COTA. I look forward to here more of your story here.
I encourage you to take a look at the Participation Guide. It will give you a sense of what we want to accomplish with this network and how to manage communications here.
