- I'm almost 65. I enjoy my 5 wonderful grandchildren. I have loved the Lord my God for over 50 years, desire to know Him more and make Him known. I have traveled to over 60 countries, and have been involved in International Student Ministries for over 25 years. I am a retired RN but volunteer in the local Health Clinic for the uninsured. I have a MA (Missiology) from Fuller Seminary (1990) and was ordained by the American Baptists (1993). I love hiking (ocean and snow covered mountains where I live). I enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, family times, church activities, my pets and hospitality.
- What are the creative examples that give you hope?
- The opportunity to host Chinese Scholars and seeing the joy on their faces when they are exposed to God's love and the fellowship of believers in worship for the first time-
- What are your most pressing concerns about the world and the church?
- The rapid pace of change in our world vs the case of omphaloskepsis "the mystical art of naval gazing" of the church=relevance.
- What is your favorite way to celebrate?
- Music/friends and family/food/nature--so many opportunties to praise God for all the blessings!!
